Love is in the Air

Greetings, my untrained worldlings!

For the month of February, I'm going to be doing a series of posts revolving around themes of love. While the idea for this was obviously sparked by February's hallmark (pun intended) holiday, I personally find Valentine's day to be kind of a crackpot institution, having little to do with real love and lots to do with capitalism and the deluded, unhealthy ways we have of seeing the world and interacting with each other.

So I wanted to write some posts deconstructing the ways we've been socialized to think love ought to look, as well as some posts exploring what I find to be more nurturing, beneficial, and, well, lovely (pun intended) expressions of "this most elusive of human emotions."*

Put in gayer terms, I will read love for filth and then beat her mug for the YAS gods!!!
